LOL Records was formed when the forces of Pine Records, and Sowa Productions decided to come together and establish an outlet to release music that is largely overlooked by the commercial recording and production companies. LOL Records came to understand and realize that these labels only deal and work with artists that you do not necessarily want to hear, but are some how rammed down the general publics throat. Some of these artists are not even real artists. It's really quite pathetic (enough to make you want to Laugh Out Loud at the entire process).  

J4 is the main act on the label.  LOL's main office in Los Angeles, CA. LOL Records does not prefer any type of music, just good music.  We accept all submissions, and do not want to work with an artist simply because they are "Rap/Rock", or a "Boy band". On the contrary, we do not follow trends, we set them, as you are now noticing with J4. Write and record what you love. Don't be something you are not. But remember, this is still a business so it needs to be treated like one. This is hard enough without having to deal with "hard to work with" artists. Most  people are misinformed when it comes to the music business.

The artists you hear on the radio are not necessarily the best artists in the world, but they most likely got there with hard work, talent, and some luck. Some on the other hand were manufactured. It's a tough business.  There is a lot of talent out there that is being overlooked and we intend to find it and serve it to you. And we know we've already started that with J4. Keep up with the times, but do your own thing. Find a happy medium, and always be professional. And the most important one. HAVE FUN!
